Billing
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
This policy explains when ApplyBrief purchases can be refunded or cancelled. It applies to subscriptions and credit purchases made through ApplyBrief.
1. Merchant Of Record
Payments for ApplyBrief are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, taxes, invoices, and refunds on our behalf. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Paddle, and the charge or refund may appear on your statement as Paddle.
2. 14-Day Money-Back On Unused Credits
If you purchase credits (including a monthly plan's included credits or a top-up) and have not used them, you may request a full refund of the unused credits within 14 days of that purchase. We refund the value of the credits that remain unused at the time of your request.
3. Used Credits Are Non-Refundable
Credits that have already been consumed — for example to generate or publish job pages or to run the features they pay for — are non-refundable, because the service has already been delivered. Refunds apply only to credits that remain unused.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your account or through your Paddle receipt. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee. Outside the 14-day window above, we do not generally refund the current period, but unused credits from that period may still be eligible under Section 2.
If you enabled automatic credit top-up, you can turn it off at any time; turning it off stops future automatic charges. An auto top-up charge for credits you have not used is eligible for the 14-day refund in Section 2.
5. How To Request A Refund
Email contact@applybrief.com (or use the link on your Paddle receipt) with your account email and the purchase you want refunded. We aim to review requests promptly and, once approved, Paddle processes the refund to your original payment method, typically within a few business days depending on your bank or card provider.
6. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund, cancellation, or cooling-off rights you may have under consumer law in your country or region (including the UK, the EU, and Canada). Where such rights apply, they are in addition to the policy above.
7. More Information
