Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies ApplyBrief uses, what they do, and how you can control them.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage. We use these only as described below; ApplyBrief does not use third-party advertising, social-media, or analytics-vendor tracking cookies.

3. Local Storage

On some pages we use browser local or session storage to keep your work usable, for example a draft of a job you are pasting in, a visitor or session identifier on published job pages, and dismissed onboarding tips. These stay on your device and are not advertising trackers.

4. Strictly Necessary vs Optional

Strictly necessary cookies are required to sign in, keep your session secure, and let you complete an application; they cannot be switched off. Functional and analytics/attribution technologies are optional. Where consent is required (including in the EU, Germany, and the UK), we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies or attribution technologies, and you can decline without losing access to the core application flow.

5. Global Privacy Control And Browser Signals

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of non-essential analytics and attribution technologies and of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by applicable US state privacy laws. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

6. More Information

For how we use the information described here, see our Privacy Policy. For questions, contact privacy@applybrief.com.
