The work

High-mix precision, not repetition

You will turn, mill and grind fluid-film bearings, seals and isolators for turbo and industrial machinery, across steel grades, copper, brass, aluminium and bronze.

The work is high-mix: custom designs, frequent changeovers and material variety.

  • Read process sheets, blueprints and sketches to set up each job.
  • Download programs from DNC storage, then read, edit or write CNC code.
  • Calculate the right feeds and speeds for each metal.
  • Inspect, finish and box the parts ready for shipment.
